As soon as the incident was reported, SP Bhimber Khawaja Abdul Qayyum took immediate notice and issued instructions to SHO City Malik Rizwan to take immediate action.
SHO Malik Rizwan immediately reached the spot where the police took timely action and arrested two suspects, Tariq Sani and Chaudhry Khurshid, while the search for the other attackers is underway.
Two people were seriously injured in the incident and have been shifted to the hospital.
The residents of the area appreciated the immediate action of the police and demanded the early arrest of the remaining suspects.
The police have registered a case and started further investigation.
