Deputy Commissioner Bhimber Mirza Arshad Mahmood Jaral along with Chairman District Council, Overseas Kashmiri Muhammad Atiq fired the opening shot and inaugurated the tournament. Honorable guests were welcomed by garlanding them to the beat of drums.
The fans appreciated the organizers at the magnificent sports festival. Young students led the squad of the teams. Kashmiri and Pakistani flags were hoisted, all 8 teams included in the second edition of the Super League Bhimber held in memory of the late Master Muhammad Khan The team kits unveiling ceremony was held a few days ago at the Deputy Commissioner Office Bhimber.
The tournament will continue till May 18. Shan Bakers Bhimber arranged refreshments for the attendees. Assistant Commissioner Bhimber Muhammad Ais Baig, DEO Muhammad Shafiq Asghar, Assistant Director Sports Youth and Culture Department Bhimber Kamal Subhani, DIO Adnan Mukhtar and others participated in the ceremony.
