Mirpur: Commissioner Mirpur takes major action regarding illegal encroachments. The meeting held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Mirpur Division Raja Tahir Mumtaz Khan was directed to eliminate illegal encroachments in the district and Mirpur City; prepare a security and traffic plan due to the rush in the markets during the second and last ten days of Ramadan; remove illegal large billboards on roads, electricity poles, and buildings; immediately remove sidewalks, carts, and stalls on the roads; and issue notices to those who do not comply with the parking regulations in plazas where parking is to be kept as per the maps and take action against them.

The meeting was attended by District Council Chairman Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga, Deputy Commissioner Mirpur Raja Sadaqat Khan, Director State Development Corporation Chaudhry Amjad Iqbal, SSP Khurram Iqbal, Assistant Commissioner Mirpur Mian Hussam Sajid, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Raja Shiraz Khan, State Officer Municipal Corporation Basharat Hussain Chaudhry, In-charge Encroachment Department Development Corporation Raja Shahzad Ahmed Khan, and Information Officer Muhammad Javed Malik.
In the meeting, the administration, police, municipal corporation, development agency, and district council officials were directed to take immediate action to eliminate illegal encroachments and implement the traffic plan in Mirpur City. Immediate action should be taken against the violators.
