ISLAMABAD, (Hayat News): Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Wednesday strongly criticized India’s aggressive behavior, describing it as a disgraceful and cowardly act that endangers peace and stability across the region.
In an official statement, Gilani asserted that India’s actions are in clear violation of international laws and fundamental human rights. He emphasized that while Pakistan remains committed to peace, it is fully capable of mounting a strong and effective defense to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with our courageous armed forces,” he said, commending the military’s unwavering commitment and history of valiant service.
Gilani cautioned that any form of aggression from India would be met with a firm and resolute response. “We will respond with strength and resolve to any hostile move,” he stated.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s right to defend itself, Gilani urged the international community to take serious note of India’s provocative actions and to play a role in maintaining peace in the region.
“Pakistan is fully prepared to defend its nation,” he concluded, reiterating that the Pakistani people remain united behind their military like an unbreakable force.
