Mirpur (Hayat News) Former Joint Secretary of Anjuman Tajran Sarafa Union Shiraz Ahmed Zargar said that the claims of cleanliness of Mirpur city have been in vain. Despite the dustbin service, the city has become a pallet depot. Piles of garbage are seen everywhere.
The municipality has no plan for cleanliness, only empty claims and announcements. Due to garbage and dirt, there are a lot of mosquitoes, which are spreading many dangerous diseases.
People are suffering from various diseases. Malaria, Corona, dengue and other diseases are spread due to dirt. There is no heir to Mirpur city. He expressed these views while talking to media representatives. Haji Shiraz Ahmed Zargar said that all the claims made regarding cleanliness in Mirpur have proven to be empty.
Citizens were initially told to provide dustbin services. Despite providing dustbin services, the cleanliness of the city is very poor. Heaps of garbage are seen everywhere. The municipality has no plan for cleanliness. A few sweepers clean in their preferred sectors, while the rest of the city is left abandoned.
He said that the dirt spread in every sector is inviting diseases. Deadly diseases like malaria, corona, dengue spread through dirt, but despite this, the city has become a dirt depot, which is a matter of concern.
