RAWALPINDI – Acting on the directives of the Divisional Intelligence Committee, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) sealed four unauthorized housing schemes on Tuesday as part of an ongoing campaign against illegal developments.
According to an official statement, the housing schemes involved include Nishan-i-Mustufa/Ample Living, Countryside Farm Houses, Agro Park, and Green Lake City. These projects were operating in various areas, including Mouzas Bagga Sheikhan, Chak Beli Khan, Ratial, Ralla Gujran, and Kuri Khuda Bakhsh Road in Rawalpindi.
During the enforcement operation, Rawalpindi Development Authority teams dismantled site offices, boundary walls, internal road networks, and footpaths built by the unapproved developers.
The crackdown was led by Rawalpindi Development Authority Director General Kinza Murtaza, who reiterated the authority’s firm stance against fraudulent real estate activities. “We are committed to protecting the public from deception and will continue such actions under the guidance of the Rawalpindi Commissioner,” she stated.
She also assured that public complaints regarding illegal land occupation are being addressed with urgency, and strict legal action will be taken against those involved in forceful land acquisition.
The Rawalpindi Development Authority has once again urged citizens to stay vigilant and avoid investing in unapproved housing schemes. Citizens can verify legal developments through the official Rawalpindi Development Authority website (www.rda.gop.pk).
Despite repeated warnings to halt unlawful advertising, bookings, and development, the operators of these schemes continued to run booking offices, prompting the latest enforcement action.
