Issues like environmental pollution, deforestation, and rising temperatures have brought us to this point today where tree plantation is not just a campaign, but a battle for survival.
In this context, the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department has announced it will start a tree plantation campaign next week so that the state can be made green and lush and the dangers of environmental destruction can be avoided. DFO Mirpur Imran Shafi clarified in his statement that the Forest Department is utilizing all available resources.
Saplings will be provided to the people of the Mirpur district from the nurseries of Barsali, Chichiyan, and Chowk Sahib.
