Mirpur (Hayat News) Deputy Commissioner Yasir Riaz has said that magistrates should not commit any negligence or carelessness regarding checking price control across the district. Price control is directly related to the health and lives of the common people and has clear principles.
For price control, magistrates should make the checking system effective under the strategy, including fineing the violators, sealing their businesses and getting them punished so that they become an example for others.
There should be no negligence in checking the quality and prices of milk, curd, meat, groceries, vegetables and other essential items, checking petroleum products and LPG gas, checking weights and measures. The performance of price control has been good last month and it should be further improved.
Those who bring substandard and defective goods to the district should be strictly dealt with. He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held regarding price-control.
