Mirpur (Hayat News) Haji Muhammad Rafiq Rahmani, Patron-in-Chief of All Azad Kashmir Barbers and Beauticians Association and Central President of Barber Union Mirpur, has said that the alarming increase in the number of stray dogs in Mirpur city and its surroundings is not only causing severe fear and panic for the citizens, but so far many people have been injured in attacks by these stray dogs, due to which there is a feeling of extreme anxiety, anxiety and insecurity among the citizens.
He said that this situation has become a serious public problem, which ignoring further will not only be negligence on the part of the administration but can also be a precursor to a major unpleasant incident.
Therefore, the Mirpur district administration, municipal corporation and other relevant institutions should immediately take serious notice of this problem and take emergency measures under an effective, systematic and long-term strategy to control the growing population of stray dogs, so that the citizens can breathe a sigh of relief and can step out of their homes without fear, because the protection of the lives and property of citizens is the primary responsibility of the government and the administration.
Rafiq Rahmani said that every year many people are injured in attacks by stray dogs in Mirpur, but despite the municipal corporation paying attention to this problem every time, no appropriate action is taken.
