Praise Pakistan’s Dual Success on Battlefield and Diplomatic Front
RAWALAKOT: Leaders of different political parties in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Sunday lauded Pakistan’s government and armed forces for effectively countering Indian aggression in May and for securing a landmark defense pact with Saudi Arabia.
They said Pakistan’s leadership had achieved a rare dual triumph—military success on the ground and diplomatic recognition at the global level—bringing pride to the nation.
At a public gathering celebrating Ma’araka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan Marsus, AJK PML-N President Shah Ghulam Qadir congratulated Pakistan’s government and people.
“We stood with Pakistan yesterday, we stand with Pakistan today, and we will stand with Pakistan forever. Our loyalty and love for Pakistan cannot be diminished,” he declared. The event was attended by leaders from all major political parties.
Qadir extended special felicitations to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Army Chief Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and the Pakistan Armed Forces for their leadership in both the battlefield victory and the signing of the Saudi defense accord.
All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference President Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan also paid tribute to the people of Poonch, recalling the sacrifices of heroes and martyrs such as Sardar Sabz Ali Khan, Mali Khan, and Captain Hussain Khan Shaheed.
Former AJK premiers Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan and Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan echoed these sentiments, expressing gratitude to the people of Poonch.
PPP leader Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen, JK Peoples Party President Sardar Hassan Ibrahim, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Minister for Local Government Chaudhry Qasim Majeed, Minister for Rehabilitation Javed Iqbal Budhanvi, and Nabeel Ayub also praised Pakistan’s armed forces.
They reaffirmed that for the people of AJK and occupied Kashmir, Pakistan remains their ultimate homeland and destiny.
