Commissioner Mirpur takes notice of slow service, network disruption, issues strict and clear instructions

Mirpur (Hayat News) Commissioner Mirpur Division Chaudhry Mukhtar Hussain held the third consecutive meeting with the representatives of mobile companies in 15 days to address the network disruption of mobile companies in Mirpur Division, slowness of phone and internet services and gave instructions that mobile companies working in the private sector in Mirpur Division should provide the quality of phone and internet services to the consumers within a month as per the agreed rules and agreements.

Telephone numbers for registering public complaints will be provided in all three districts and tehsils where citizens will be able to register their complaints regarding mobile phones, the records of which will be regularly registered.

The primary responsibility of the companies concerned is to provide quality and long-lasting mobile phone and internet services to the public, and there should be no further delay in fulfilling this. On this occasion, the in-charges of jazz, tenor, Ufone and zong companies from Islamabad and franchises from their respective networks and internet.

He gave a detailed briefing and assured that the instructions given would be implemented soon. He said that the top priority of all mobile phone operators established in the private sector is to provide better services to the customers.

However, mobile operators in Mirpur division are facing some difficulties, which have been identified. New towers will be installed in these places, while old towers will also be upgraded.

There is also a three-four hour backup on the towers during power load shedding. Commissioner Mirpur Division Chaudhry Mukhtar Hussain instructed the representatives of all mobile companies to provide Punjab and Islamabad-style mobile calls and internet services in Mirpur division, get the technical faults of poor services resolved within a month, increase the range and coverage of their respective networks so that the complaints of the public can be addressed and quality service can be available to the customers under the packages.

Action will be taken against companies providing poor and substandard services as per the constitution and law.

He said that the Azad Kashmir government has provided all possible facilities to all mobile companies so that they can provide the best possible service to the people.

He said that honest and contractual business activities come under the category of worship and there is also the power of redress under the law for negligence and carelessness in its payment.

It is the responsibility of the government to bind the relevant institutions to provide the best possible services to its people and the divisional administration will not spare any effort in implementing this.
