Mirpur (Hayat News) On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, a rally was taken out from the cricket stadium to Chowk Shaheedan in Divisional Headquarters Mirpur to express solidarity with the families of the martyrs in recognition of their greatness and the sacrifices they made for the beloved homeland.
The rally was led by the heirs of the martyrs, families, political, social and religious parties, traders’ association and representatives of civil society. The participants hoisted the flags and banners of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir and chanted slogans in favor of Pakistan Zindabad, Pak Army Zindabad, Martyrs of Kashmir, Martyrs of Pakistan, Martyrs of LoC.
When the rally reached Chowk Shaheedan, it took the form of a large gathering. The rally was led by Majid Professor Muhammad Arshad Jaral, father of martyred Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Imran Arshad Jaral of the Pak Army, Sohail Shuja Mujahid of Anjuman Tajran, Chaudhry Muhammad Naeem, Mawan Shabbir, Umair Asghar of Tehreek-e-Labbaik, Abdul Shakoor Mughal of the Muslim Conference, Hafiz Yasir Bashir of the Muslim League (N), Mirza Wajahat Baig and leaders of other organizations and people belonging to different schools of thought participated in full. On this occasion, the participants said that the martyrs are our national heroes and insulting talk against them will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The martyrs sacrificed the future of their parents, wives, children and family for our future, the nation and the country, due to which today we are breathing in free air.
They said that the sacrifices of the Pakistan Movement, the Kashmir Liberation Movement and the Pakistani Armed Forces to combat terrorism in Pakistan are immortal. Due to the strong defense of the Pakistan Army, the dear homeland and the entire nation are a leaden wall against India’s internal and external conspiracies.
We are all one and stand by the side of the Pakistan Army. The martyrs and their families also deserve our respect and honor. On this occasion, Professor Mirza Wajahat Baig spoke about the martyrs’ retribution and elevation of ranks, as well as the defense and Prayed for the success of the Kashmir Freedom Movement.
