Mirpur (Hayat News) Former candidate for assembly, Dr. Ishrat Sajjad, has said that with the arrival of summer, the business of substandard, unhealthy and substandard ice cream has reached its peak in Mirpur city.
The business of ice cream from nameless and anonymous factories has gained momentum. This trend has now spread from the markets to the neighborhoods and streets, while this ice cream is being sold in front of schools, which children are consuming indiscriminately and are suffering from various diseases.
Ice cream made from substandard and unhealthy ingredients using the names of multinational companies is being sold in the markets everywhere in the city, to which the administration is a silent spectator.
She expressed these views while talking to the media. Dr. Ishrat Sajjad said that various diseases are spreading due to these substandard ice creams as children mostly consume ice cream due to which the cause of stomach and other deadly diseases in children is substandard ice cream which is prepared with various chemicals and sold in the markets.
He said that there are factories in the city that manufacture substandard and unhealthy ice creams which are doing business of unhealthy ice creams using the names of other companies at the local level. It is often seen that the business of selling such unhealthy ice creams is going on through motorcycles.
The district administration should take immediate action against them. And strict action should be taken against those who spread diseases among children.
