ISLAMABAD (Hayat News): Hanif Abbasi, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has denounced India’s recent unprovoked midnight assault targeting civilians, including women, children, and places of worship, calling it an undeniable act of terrorism.
Speaking to the media outside Parliament House, Hanif Abbasi condemned India’s so-called “Operation Sindoor,” labeling it a cowardly act and a blatant violation of international law. He expressed admiration for Pakistan’s defense capabilities and commended the Pakistan Air Force for successfully downing five Indian fighter jets in response.
Abbasi extended his gratitude to allied nations, including China, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and Turkiye, for standing alongside Pakistan during the crisis. He emphasized that the nation stands united in times of conflict, regardless of regional differences.
Paying tribute to the soldiers defending the Line of Control (LOC), Abbasi vowed that Pakistan would hold Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi accountable for his actions. He also highlighted growing international criticism of India’s actions and noted that India had rejected Pakistan’s offer for an independent and transparent investigation into the Pahalgam incident.
Abbasi further accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Indian government of escalating violence and discrimination against minorities, both within India and abroad. He warned that any attempts by India to restrict Pakistan’s access to water resources would be met with appropriate measures to safeguard national interests.
The PML-N leader called on the Indian populace to protect their nation from harmful policies, asserting that Pakistan remains a responsible nuclear state. He emphasized that the Pakistan Army, Air Force, Navy, government, and citizens stand united in their commitment to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”)}
