ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed that Pakistan’s new hospitals adopt the quality and efficiency of Chinese healthcare facilities.
On Wednesday, the premier directed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to ensure sustainable and well-structured infrastructure at Islamabad’s under-construction hospitals, including the Jinnah Medical Complex. The goal, he said, is to deliver modern medical services aligned with international benchmarks.
The directive came during his visit to Beijing’s Anzhen Hospital, where PM Shehbaz reviewed advanced facilities, robotic systems, and administrative technologies. He praised the hospital’s cutting-edge equipment, smooth operations, and patient-focused services, calling it a model for Pakistan.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, along with federal ministers Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Ahsan Iqbal, Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Attaullah Tarar, accompanied the prime minister on the visit.
