Islamabad (Hayat News) The District Court has issued a written order declaring PTI leader Mirza Shahzad Akbar as a proclaimed offender in the controversial tweets case.
Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Abbas Shah issued a written order declaring Mirza Shahzad Akbar as a proclaimed offender, while the court’s decision also ordered the issuance of an arrest warrant for Shahzad Akbar.
According to the written order, Mirza Shahzad Akbar was summoned to the court several times, but he did not appear for any of the hearings, after which the court decided to declare him as a proclaimed offender. According to sources, a case challan against Mirza Shahzad Akbar has also been submitted to the court.
A case was registered against him by the NCCIA in July 2025 on the charge of issuing controversial statements on social media platform X. In this regard, instructions have been given to the relevant agencies to take steps to arrest Shahzad Akbar.
