Muzaffarabad (Hayat News) President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference and former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan has said that the long-standing relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are based on brotherhood, sisterhood and Islamic ties. Saudi Arabia has supported Pakistan in every difficult time and Pakistan has also always stood with Saudi Arabia and played a role in strengthening the unity and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah.
A ceremony was organized by the Muslim Conference on the occasion of the 95th National Day of Saudi Arabia at Mujahid Awwal House, Ghaziabad. Major (R) Nasrullah Khan, Irfan Abbasi, Ashfaq Abbasi, Raja Munir Khan, and other Muslim Conference leaders and workers participated in the ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, President Muslim Conference Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan said that the importance of the Pak-Saudi defense agreement was highlighted and the relations between the two brotherly countries were declared a milestone for the peace and security of the region.
Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan said that Saudi Arabia is not only the center of the Islamic world but also a symbol of devotion and respect for the entire Muslim Ummah, including Pakistan.
He said that the Pak-Saudi defense agreement is a reflection of the depth of mutual trust and relations between the two countries.
Through this agreement, peace, stability and defense cooperation in the region will be further strengthened. During the ceremony, President Muslim Conference Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan, along with the workers, cut a cake in celebration of Saudi Arabia’s National Day and expressed his best wishes for the Saudi people and leadership.
He said that the Kashmiri people are grateful to the leadership of Saudi Arabia, which has always supported the Kashmiri people on the Kashmir issue. The speakers at the ceremony also termed Pak-Saudi relations as a guarantee of the unity of the Muslim Ummah and expressed their determination that these brotherly relations between the people and leadership of the two countries will prove to be a shining example for future generations.
