Neelam (Hayat News) On the instructions of the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, the district administration distributed relief checks to the victims of natural disasters. The funds released by the Azad Kashmir government for natural disasters are being distributed to the victims in relief checks worth more than Rs 57.5 million.
In this regard, a ceremony was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office to distribute relief checks. Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Ahmed Janjua (Tamgha Imtiaz) distributed checks worth Rs 22.9 million to the families of the deceased and victims of the fire in the Aath Muqam Tehsil, while relief checks worth Rs 34.6 million will be distributed to the victims of natural disasters in Sharda, September 23.
Earlier, relief checks were delivered to the victims of the fire in the village of Shaal Dabba, a suburb of Jagran, at their doorsteps. The Deputy Commissioner, while expressing sympathy with the victims and their families, said in a message that the district administration is playing its role to protect the lives and property of the citizens. The victims thanked the district administration and the government of Azad Kashmir for receiving the compensation checks.
