Lahore: In recognition of his outstanding social and community services, prominent UK and Azad Kashmir political and social personality Zahid Mughal has been awarded the prestigious Taghma-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan.

According to reports, the award was presented during a dignified ceremony held at the Governor House Lahore, where Sardar Saleem Haider Khan conferred the civil honor upon him.
Zahid Mughal was recognized for his valuable contributions and welfare services for overseas Pakistanis and the people of Azad Kashmir, particularly in Britain and Mirpur.
It is noteworthy that some time ago, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore appointed Zahid Mughal as his adviser in Britain.
Following the announcement, political, social, and public circles in Mirpur warmly congratulated Zahid Mughal on receiving the prestigious award, describing it as a matter of pride and honor for the people of Mirpur as well.
