On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Mirpur, the district administration inspected gas agencies across the city. Assistant Commissioner Mirpur Mian Hussam Sajid, accompanied by the Tehsildar Mirpur and a police contingent, visited several agencies.

During the inspection, a strict warning was issued against profiteering. Agencies found charging more than the fixed rate were fined on the spot.
The Assistant Commissioner also checked the prescribed weight of gas cylinders and directed that the public be given maximum possible relief, keeping supply and plant rates in view.
The Mirpur district administration said the provision of quality facilities to citizens at official government rates will be ensured, and any violation will face strict action.
